Start with score and wickets
A score like 151/4 means the batting team has made 151 runs and lost 4 wickets. In limited-overs cricket, wickets in hand decide how aggressively a team can chase. In Test cricket, wickets show innings pressure, but lead or trail is equally important.
Check overs and run rate
Overs tell how much of the innings is complete. Current run rate shows scoring speed. Required run rate matters only in a chase, so Today Cricket Score avoids forcing a win percentage when a match is already decided or when required-rate data is not relevant.
Use venue and recent trend
Venue, pitch type, recent overs and session status help explain why the same score can mean different things in different matches. A slow pitch may make 150/4 stronger than it looks; a flat batting surface may need more context.
